[ARCHIVED] Applicants sought for Trustee of Wards 7-8

Howard Village President Burt McIntyre is seeking applicants to fill the trustee position for Wards 7-8. The seat was left vacant when incumbent Trustee Mike Hoppe resigned on July 30.  

To be considered for the position, applicants must be Howard residents, who live within Ward 7 or 8 and are eligible to vote in the state of Wisconsin. Interested applicants should complete and return a Village Board Questionnaire by Aug. 17. Forms are available on the Village of Howard website (www.villageofhoward.com)  and at Village Hall during business hours (7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Friday).

President McIntyre and up to two sitting trustees will conduct interviews if more than two applications are received, with Village Board approval expected at the Aug. 27 meeting.
