The Brown County Treasurer mails the annual tax bills. As a reminder, the Village of Howard collects the first installment and full payment option of real estate and personal property taxes. Brown County will no longer accept the first installment of the tax collections, but will remain the collector of any second installment payments. There are several options to pay your bill:
- Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes online via debit or credit card at bclrpp.browncountywi.gov. You can create an account or use the guest option. There is a fee to make an online payment, and the fee varies depending on whether you choose to pay by debit, credit or an e-check so please read the payment options and fee information carefully.
- Check payments may also be mailed to Howard Village Hall, 2456 Glendale Ave., Howard, WI 54313 or placed in the drop box outside the building. Please do not send or deposit cash. If you'd like a receipt mailed back to you, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your payment.
- In-person tax payments will be received in the front office at Village Hall only between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. A receipt will be given.
