SARA KING - Director of Leisure Services
|
Sara King was appointed as Howard Recreation Supervisor on December 5, 2007. After organizational restructuring, Ms. King was appointed Director of Leisure Services in April 2009. Prior to joining the Village of Howard team, she served as Recreation Supervisor for Bellevue, Wisconsin and Membership Services Director for Girl Scouts of Lac Baie Council in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
The Director of Leisure Services oversees all recreation programming in the community including youth, adult, and senior citizen activities; special events; trips; sports leagues, and manages all park facility reservations. She is also a liaison to the Howard Youth Sports Association and the Duck Creek Softball Association.
Ms. King received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Recreation Management from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse and is a Certified Park & Recreation Professional (CPRP) through the National Recreation and Park Association. She is a Delegate to the Great Lakes Academy for Leadership Advancement and the Region II Representative to the Wisconsin Park and Recreation Association. Ms. King is also a member of the Wisconsin Association of Senior Centers and Wisconsin Association of Cheer & Pom Coaches.

JON RUPNO - Recreation Assistant

Jon Rupno was appointed as Howard Recreation Assistant on November 10, 2008. He received his Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Sports Management from Valparaiso University. He also received his Master of Science (MS) degree in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University.
The Recreation Assistant plans, organizes, and supervises youth and adult sports programming in the community on a part time basis. He also assists with facility rentals and maintaining department information on the Village website.

LINDA CLEVENGER - Office Assistant
|
The Village of Howard is working cooperatively with N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation Center's Senior Worker Program to provide the Leisure Services Department with administrative assistance. On March 3, 2008 Linda Clevenger began her assignment with the Village. Linda works part time completing various office projects and tasks for the Parks, Recreation, Senior Services, and Golf Divisions. She also assists the with Active Seniors activities such as Bingo and Friday Dinner & a Movie.
