The Village Green Golf Course, owned and operated by the Village of Howard, is located at 302 Riverdale Drive (just north of State Highway 29 and approximately 1 mile west of US Highway 41).Directions
The Village Green Golf Course is managed by Joel Piontek (Pictured at Right). Mr. Piontek has been the Golf Course Manager since March 2003. He is a certified Food Manager and a member of the Wisconsin Restaurant Association. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay. Roy Krause started his tenure as the Golf Course Superintendent at Village Green in 1976 when the golf course was owned and operated by the Reinhard family. He became a Howard employee in 1997. Roy has over 30 years of grounds keeping experience, which started at Oneida Golf and Riding.
9-HOLE PUBLIC GOLF COURSE
The Village Green Golf course offers a beautiful 9-hole municipal course for golfers of all skill levels. The golf season is April through November, weather permitting. The first tee time is 6:30am and golfing continues until dusk. The clubhouse dining and bar is open during the golf season and serves cold beverages, sandwiches, pizza and other lunch and dinner menu items. Call for tee times (920)434-3939.
VILLAGE GREEN BAR & RESTAURANT
The Village Green Golf Course clubhouse features a fish fry year-round every Friday from 11:00am until 2:00pm and again from 4:30pm until 9:30pm. The menu selection includes perch, haddock, walleye, pike, shrimp, scallops, frog legs, cod, withefish, salmon and grouper. The dining room and bar offer flat-panel televisions and wireless internet availability. Carry-outs available.
The golf course is part of the Parks, Recreation and Senior Services Department. Call to reserve your tee time at 920/434-3939 or book your private or corporate outing with the manager. The clubhouse is available year round for private parties up to 100 people. Full bar and restaurant included.
