Voter registration and absentee voting information

Election promo

Residents who need to register to vote can do that now online, by mail, or in person. Voters also can request absentee ballots be mailed to them, and in-person absentee voting will start on Oct. 20.  You can check your voter registration status, register to vote and request an absentee ballot at www.MyVote.wi.gov.

Please note the deadlines to register and request an absentee ballot by mail. After the deadlines, voters must register in person at Village Hall or a the polling locations on Election Day.

In-person absentee voting will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday from Oct. 20-30. Voters should use the  back entrance at Village Hall and proceed to the Community Center, where election officials will be working. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing.

The Village of Howard highly encourages absentee voters who receive their ballots by mail to return them in person to the front office during normal business hours or put them into the outside drop box that is available 24/7. Absentee ballots must be returned to Howard Village Hall (not the polling locations) by 8 p.m. on Nov. 3.
